Linking tells us which Steam account is yours on Discord. It is how you earn medals and stat cards for what you do on our game servers, and how the game servers know you when you donate. One link covers every one of our DayZ and Rust servers.
Not in our Discord yet? Join it first, then link.
What you need
- To be a member of our Discord.
- Your Steam account connected to your Discord account: in Discord, open User Settings, then Connections, and add Steam. It can stay hidden on your profile.
What happens
The button takes you to Discord's own login page. Discord asks if we may see your account and its connections.
We read two things: your Discord ID and your Steam connection. Nothing else is kept.
Our bot sends you a message on Discord when you are linked.
The other way: a code from the game
On any of our servers, type /link in the game's chat.
You get a code.
On our Discord, open the Steam link channel, press Enter code and type it in.
The code works for 15 minutes.
To unlink, ask staff: open a ticket on our Discord. What we keep is in our Privacy Policy.
