Discord rules

By staying on this server you agree to these rules - in text, voice, DMs, names, avatars and statuses.

1. Respect everyone - Banter is fine. Swearing, harassment, threats, racism, homophobia and hate are not.

2. Follow Discord's rules - Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines apply. You must be 18+.

3. Keep it clean - No NSFW, sexual, gore or shock content, including names, avatars and statuses. No selling or promoting drugs.

4. No spam - No flooding, mass mentions, ghost pings or unwanted DMs.

5. No advertising - No promoting servers, streams or sales without staff permission.

6. No scams - No phishing, "free Nitro", fake giveaways or suspicious links/files. Report them.

7. Protect privacy - Never share anyone's personal info.

8. English in public text channels

9. No politics or religion in public chat

10. Use the right channel - Read the channel name and topic.

11. Voice chat - No ear-rape, soundboard/music spam or disrupting others. Over 2 hours in an AFK channel = disconnected from voice.

12. Play fair - No cheats, exploits, macros or ban evasion on our game servers.

13. One account per person - Alts used to dodge a mute or ban = permanent ban.

14. Names - Readable and mentionable. No impersonating, no "!" to jump the member list.

15. Staff have the final say - Disagree? Open a ticket, not a public argument.

Help, warnings and appeals

Need help or want to report someone? Open a ticket in the ticket channel on our Discord.

If rules are broken: warning → timeout → kick → ban. 3 warnings = automatic 1-hour timeout. Hate, NSFW, doxxing, scams or cheating can mean an instant permanent ban.

Appeals: the Ban appeals inbox on our forum (it works even if you are banned from our Discord).

DayZ server rules

On every CGF DayZ server: in-game chat, voice (VOIP), names and bases. On Discord, the Discord rules apply.

1. Respect other players - No harassment, bullying, intimidation or threats, in text or voice. Killing is part of DayZ; hunting the same player again and again just to ruin their game is not.

2. No hate, no slurs - No racism, homophobia, sexism or slurs in names, chat or voice. Slurs = automatic ban.

3. No swearing in chat - Keep chat clean: no swearing, insults or abusive language.

4. No cheating - No hacks, scripts, macros, exploits, duping, or glitching through walls or into bases. Permanent ban.

5. No combat logging - Logging out or quitting during a fight to save your character or gear is punished.

6. No griefing after a raid - Raiding is allowed. Once you've raided, take your loot and leave: don't wreck what's left, and never put your own code locks on someone else's base.

7. Don't call out cheaters in game - Open a ticket in the ticket channel on our Discord with the server, the time and a clip if you have one. Admins check the logs.

8. Real launcher name - Readable, not offensive, and no pretending to be an admin or another player.

9. One player, one account - No alt accounts or ban evasion.

10. Voice chat - No ear-rape, music or soundboard spam over in-game voice.

11. Idle time doesn't count - After 30 minutes without moving, your time stops counting toward hours and medals until you move again. When the server is full, players idle 60+ minutes may be kicked to make room.

12. Admins have the final say - Disagree? Open a ticket, don't argue in chat.

If rules are broken: warning → kick → ban. Cheating, slurs and ban evasion = straight to a ban.

One ban, every server: a ban on any CGF game server (DayZ or Rust) bans you on all of them. When a timed ban ends, it ends everywhere.

Rust server rules

On every CGF Rust server: chat, voice, names and bases. On Discord, the Discord rules apply.

1. Respect other players - PvP with respect. No harassment, bullying, threats or excessive toxicity, in text or voice.

2. No hate, no slurs - No racism, homophobia, sexism or slurs in names, chat or voice. Slurs = automatic ban.

3. No swearing in chat - Keep chat clean: no swearing, insults or abusive language.

4. English in global chat - So everyone can follow it and admins can moderate it.

5. No cheating - No hacks, scripts, macros, exploits or intentional bug abuse. No EAC or game-banned alts. Permanent ban.

6. Teams of 8, no alliances - Max 8 per team. No allies with other teams and no "slaves".

7. No griefing after a raid - Raiding is allowed on Weekly and Biweekly, and you may lock a base while you raid it. When the raid is over, take your loot, remove your locks and leave. Don't lock the owners out of their own base, and don't block a base in by placing TCs around it. Every lock placed is logged. Monthly is PVE: no raiding there. Players can't hurt each other, and other players' doors, walls and boxes are off limits (traps and turrets are allowed). Staff can see who damaged what.

8. No hotels - Don't give away or sell bases. You can abandon a base.

9. Don't call out cheaters in game - Report them with F7 in game, or open a ticket in the ticket channel on our Discord. Admins check the logs.

10. No advertising - No promoting other servers, streams or sales.

11. One player, one account - No alt accounts or ban evasion.
