Appeal a ban
A ban on any of our game servers covers all of them, DayZ and Rust. If you think a ban was a mistake, or you want a second chance, you can appeal. It works even if you are banned from our Discord.
Who can appeal
- Anyone banned from our Discord or from our game servers, for their own ban.
- Not for these bans: cheating or exploits, and hate speech or slurs. They will not be appealed.
What to send
- Your in-game name, and your Discord name if you have one.
- Your Steam profile link or Steam ID, for a game ban.
- Where you were banned (Discord, DayZ or Rust, and which server) and about when.
- What happened, in your own words, and why the ban should be lifted.
Where
Use the "Ban appeals" inbox on our forum. It is private between you and staff. If you are banned from our Discord, sign up there with a username and password.
What happens next
- Staff look at the logs and the ban, then answer you. We try to answer within 7 days.
- One open appeal at a time.
- After a first "no", wait 30 days before you ask again; after a second "no", 8 months; after a third "no", you can ask once a year.
- If the appeal is accepted, the ban is lifted on every server.
The same rules are in our Terms. A timed ban ends by itself, on every server at once: no appeal is needed for that.
